Our toners are available in 8oz bottles. All of our mists are offered in 3.3oz sprayers.

So, in addition to including even higher quality ingredients and a unique sensorial product experience, we updated the packaging to be more sustainable and refreshed our graphics to more clearly convey our organic and natural ingredients.

We take pride in our simple ingredient labels – all Humphreys products are free of dyes, sulfates, parabens, phthalates and gluten and are safe for use during pregnancy. However, always check with your doctor before using any new products while pregnant or nursing.
All of our toners and mists start with certified organic, wild harvested witch hazel.
Our alcohol-free toners and cleansing pads then have additional clean ingredients added, not all of which are certified organic.
Our Humphreys Clarifying mist and toner as well as our Humphreys Refining Mist and toner all carry the USDA Certified Organic seal on package, because all of the ingredients in those products are organic.
Our products are appropriate for all skin types: they’re dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic, non-irritating, and formulated without parabens, phthalates, dyes, sulfates, and gluten.
Despite its complicated and potentially misleading name, phenoxyethanol is NOT an ethyl alcohol.
Phenoxyethanol is actually a preservative* used in our alcohol-free witch hazel formulations. It helps our products remain stable, free of impurities and prevents fungal growth.
* Phenoxyethanol on the Whole Foods approved list of premium ingredients, which many consumers and manufacturers view as THE standard in clean ingredients.
Some of our products do include fragrances, to enhance the sensorial experience of our toners and mists.
If you are looking to avoid added fragrances, our Humphreys Clarifying Organic Toner and Mist and Humphreys Nourishing Toner and Mist are both fragrance free.
None of the Humphreys product line contains any dye, sulfates, parabens, phthalates or gluten.
We harvest only the bark and twigs—the effective parts of the plant, never the leaves—and carefully distill them to remove impurities, ensuring your skin receives everything it needs and nothing it doesn’t. This method preserves the integrity of genuine witch hazel, as defined by USP standards*

All of our products are vegan and cruelty-free.
We never test on animals at any stage of product development.
The bottles and caps of our Humphreys line are recyclable.

Yes – they both are!
Our harvesting methods do not impact the well-being of any humans, animals, or other ecosystems on the lands.
Due to our sustainable harvesting methods and our responsible acquisition of our ingredients, we ensure that we do not deplete the forests in any way. Each plant will completely renew itself within the next 5 to 7 years.
Additionally, heat generated from our manufacturing process is recycled and used to heat our building.
Any waste material generated is sold to local garden stores as lawn mulch.
